This week, the assigned adaptive assessment was a maternal newborn exam. This exam went well! I finished the assessment in 75 questions and had minimal remediations to do compared to previous assessments. I think I felt more confident in this exam because I just completed the maternity portion of my maternity and pediatrics class. With this in mind, maternity content is at the forefront of my brain as I have been studying for exams and doing other assignments on the topic. This reinforces how important it will be to create an effective study plan for the NCLEX so that I have a well rounded understanding of as much content as possible.

This assessment was not stressful for me because I knew most of the answers. I think in previous assessments it was more difficult because I felt like I was doing a lot of guessing and that would make me feel stressed or anxious. If I can focus my studying effectively and feel this confident on every exam, I would do much better overall.
