The pediatric adaptive exam went well. I feel like the percentage scored correct was indicative of my knowledge of pediatric content. I found it interesting that I scored better one the maternity adaptive exam than the pediatric exam. I attributed my success one the maternity adaptive to the fact that I was taking the class at that time, but now I am in pediatrics and the same reflection did not occur. I think that in some senses pediatric content is a more difficult way of thinking because it is more disease process heavy.

Although I wish the results had been a little higher, I feel that it was still reflective of how my test taking abilities have improved. I know myself and how to take exams in a way that will benefit my learning ability. I can tell this as well because my exam cut off at 75 questions, so I know my test taking strategies are working in a way that will be efficient. As I continue to take the last few practice exams, I want to continue to analyze my test taking strategies to prepare myself for further test taking and eventually the NCLEX.
